Thank you to all of the bands, all of the sponsors, volunteers, and especially all of the fans for making ROCKAIDS 7 such a great success!

We are all exhausted after such a great show at Jannus Landing but the work on ROCKAIDS 8 has already begun!

There are many things to do and many things that you, the fans and the bands, can do to make sure that ROCKAIDS 8 will be bigger, better and just plain rocking! We DO need YOUR help. There is nothing that is too small to offer!

  • Please consider making a donation of any type, of any amount. Every little bit helps. The behind the scenes costs for these type concerts are astronomical!

  • Volunteer your time. Whether it's at a ROCKAIDS show or one of the many understaffed Tampa Bay organizations that can use any little bit of time you can offer. Contact ROCKAIDS for details.

  • LEARN & EDUCATE! HIV is a (so far) incurable disease but one that is 100% Preventable! Learn all you can about the easy, simple steps to stop this disease in its tracks. Educate your friends, family and co-workers. Need educational materials? Need the facts? Need to know where to get tested? Contact ROCKAIDS!

  • Talk to your employers and companies about becoming a ROCKAIDS sponsor. ROCKAIDS is a full 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization and the benefits of making a donation are too many to list here. As you've seen at past ROCKAIDS shows we have giveaways, raffles and silent auctions. All of those items were gracious donations and none are too small. Anything from a restaurant gift certificate, signed piece of art, band t-shirt, guitars, overstock items from your store, the options are endless. And a donation to a 501(C)(3) can cost your company nothing but benefit you TENFOLD! Contact ROCKAIDS for more details.

  • Get your band involved! Want to play on the world famous Jannus Landing stage for the masses AND do it for a good cause? We'll make it happen. Tell your band members, you boyfriends band, your kids band that we can vastly widen their exposure through radio and print commercials as well as performing at the famous Jannus Landing where you'll be covered by the worlds best press, photographers and videographers. Not to mention that cheering crowd!

  • Get the word out! Tell all of your friends, family, coworkers and even strangers on the street about ROCKAIDS! Form your own street team! Show them this site.

  • GET INVOLVED IN THIS WEBSITE! One thing we are all dyeing to see are all of the phonecam pics that everyone was shooting at the show! We have a special part of our photo gallery we made just for you. We don't even need to get involved. Just go to the Gallery, click on Submit your Pics and you're good to go. You can leave your name or be anonymous .
Granted I'm the newest guy on the team but I am going to try to do everything I can to get together a ROCKAIDS prize pack for the winners(s) of the best phonecam shots once you guys get rolling. I've already seen a couple turn up on a MySpace profile so why not share them here?
Speaking of getting involved... Post your links, post your photos, sign the guestbook and most importantly SIGN UP FOR OUR MAILING LIST!

More news and updates to follow as they roll in, keep your eye on our blog for more new stuff
If you have any cool ideas for front page poll questions, let me know!
